By Road from Inverness:
Head towards Beauly (following signs for the A862) and continue into the village. From Beauly, turn onto the A831 (Strathglass Road) heading west towards Struy / Cannich. Stay on the A831 through Kilmorack and on towards Struy, then look out for the driveway on the left hand side signed 'Erchless Castle'. The drive is roughly 45 minutes from Inverness, depending on traffic.

By Rail:
Erchless Castle is easy to reach by rail via the Highlands’ main transport hub at Inverness. From Inverness Station, take a short ScotRail service to Beauly, the closest station to the castle. From Beauly, Erchless Castle is around 10 miles by road, and the simplest option is to continue by taxi or a pre-arranged transfer along the A831 into Strathglass, towards Struy.
